

At “Torisei Main Store,” a brewery-operated restaurant, you can enjoy a variety of dishes made with premium chicken alongside fine sake from the long-established brewery “Yamamoto Honke,” founded in 1677.
Set in a charming space converted from a traditional sake brewery in the streets of Fushimi, the restaurant offers freshly pressed unpasteurized sake, as well as yakitori and chicken sashimi (Winter only) made from fresh, carefully selected chicken delivered daily.

Our restaurant uses domestically raised premium chicken delivered fresh every day. Thanks to its freshness, we can serve dishes such as chicken sashimi (Winter only) , while our carefully grilled skewers are also a specialty. The savory grilled chicken is generously coated with our special sauce, which is simmered with sake to bring out an elegant sweetness and rich umami.*Please note that some menu items are not made with domestically raised premium chicken.

At the center of the first floor stands a large tank filled with freshly pressed sake delivered directly from the brewery. While you can fully enjoy the rich umami unique to freshly pressed sake, the finish is clean and refreshing, making you want another glass. The delicate aroma that gently rises through the nose is also part of what makes this drink so special.

The renovated brewery space is available as a fully private room with sunken kotatsu seating. Beyond the heavy doors lies a calm and atmospheric room that reflects a long history. Reservations are available only for groups of 4 to 8 people booking the brewery course (¥6,800). It is an excellent choice for special occasions and gatherings.

From casual dining to special occasions
We offer course menus suitable for a variety of dining occasions. Starting from an affordable ¥3,300 plan featuring chicken dishes such as grilled skewers, to a ¥6,800 kura-style private room course ideal for special meals or business entertainment, you can choose according to your needs and budget.

A space preserving the charm of a sake brewery
The interior is renovated from a sake brewery built between the Taisho era and early Showa period. With high ceilings and impressive wooden beams, the space retains the authentic atmosphere of a traditional brewery. In addition to kura-style tatami seating, there are counter seats suitable for solo diners, as well as table seating that can accommodate up to 40 guests.
